Does anyone know how much rear end gear oil a 2002 Ford f150 takes?

It depends on which Axle (rear End) you have.

If you have the 8.8/9.75 ring gear diameter axle, then you will need 5.5 pints. If you have the Larger 10.25 ring gear diameter then it takes 6.9 pints. If you have the traction Lock differential, you must add 8 oz of the friction modifier additive.

A metal tag is attached to one of the rear cover bolts which will show the model, date ,ratio, ring gear diameter/Ring gear size and production plant.Does anyone know how much rear end gear oil a 2002 Ford f150 takes?
