ok this is going to sound crazy but my husband is a mechanic and i have been there. the auto parts store has a soap called orange GOJO. put some on a HOT old cloth and wipe it over the oil and let it sit for a few minutes. dont lather it just wipe it and let it sit. then go back over it with a hot cloth. also i have use mr clean majic erasers after the gojo and it gets the rest off. but run the washer on 1 hot cycle before you put another load in or they will smell like oranges! good luck!!Gear oil in washing machine %26amp; tumble dryer?
For the tumble dryer u can get sheets that make your washing smell gd maybe try those? Washing machine maybe fabric softner?
Why did you put gear oil in there?If it`s your boiler suits that have stunk it out try plenty of fabric conditioner in a cold wash rinse,no clothes,just let it run it`s cycle,should help a bit.
