can the oil cause the 1st gear to pop out wen the cluthch is released if it is low??Is there any way that not having enough gear oil in my ax15 transmission cause 1st gear to pop out?
yes it causes extra friction and will ruin bearing keeper and sencros and it could aslo lead to the trans just locking up on you when a bearing seizes up so if i were you i would get that looked at and if it is already poping outta gear it may continue to do so until the trans is rebuildIs there any way that not having enough gear oil in my ax15 transmission cause 1st gear to pop out?
Sounds like you need a new syncro collar. Does it crunch going in to first gear when down shifting?
