Just look at the oil in the ole scooty pep, if it is real dark, have metalic flakes in it, or smells burnt. Change it. You should make a record of the ole scooty pep and keep up with it regularly!

I change the oil in my scooty pep every 5000 miles. How we will come to know to replace the engine oil and gear oil in scooty pep?
you've got the wierdest language I've heard. replacing oil is pretty simple. If I buy a car, not knowing when it had its oil replaced, I go out to wallmart and buy 20 bucks worth of oil and a good filter. Same with gear oil. If your not sure replace, then you're on track to keep records and make sure to replace it in the right cycle next time. If you're not sure about something replace and then listen for your sounds. If its making sounds like it shouldn't you've waited too late anyway.
Use time intervals, 3 or 4 months, more often in dusty conditions or if Scooty pep is worked hard. The measuring stick will only show you if the oil level is proper. It will not tell you when to change oil.

Gear cases are sealed and unless there is a leak, gear oil should not need to be changed. It is a good idea to check gear oil level when changing the engine oil.
Define scooty pep
