How would i be able to check if there is water mixing with the gear oil?

on my kx 125 motorbikeHow would i be able to check if there is water mixing with the gear oil?
water in rad will be frothey.....oil will be white and watery...How would i be able to check if there is water mixing with the gear oil?
Yes the milky color is an indication of water mixed with oil. Also since water is more dense than oil it will go to the bottom of the case if it has not yet mixed with the oil. Maybe you can take a small sample from the drain plug and examine it. If you are not sure if water is in the oil put a drop or 2 on a hot exhaust surface. Water in the oil will sizzle, oil will smoke.
I Wud Say As Most Oil Substances.

Drain A Bit Off Into A Beaker/Jug

Hold Upto The Light/Sunlight

The Oil Wud Sit On Top Of The Water And Be A Visible Layer On Top, If It Has't Yet Mixed With The Water.

Other Than That, The Liquid Drained Would Be A Milky Colour.

Hope This Helps

The oil normally goes a milky colour or vise versa, the water goes milky.
