Changing the gear oil is about the easiest maintenance there is. The final drive has two plugs, a drain plug and a fill plug. Open the drain plug and let the fluid run, then open the fill plug to make sure all oil drains out. Reinstall the drain plug and fill the drive with the recommended gear oil while the bike is in an UPRIGHT position. Fill until the oil reaches the bottom of the fill hole. Screw in the fill plug and you'll be good for another couple of thousand miles.How do i get in to a on line service manual im trying to find out how to change the gear oil on my harley?

Google it. I have found online manuals for almost anything I have looked for.
manuals arent free you cant find it...you need to go to harley for that
