I always use the syn. because it doesnt break down like the fossil oil does. Less breakdown = more protection, especially since our evo's arent exactly spring chickens.Best gear oil to use in a 96 Road King, primary case,,,,,syn or fossil oil?
they say the synthetic although i still use natural stuff in my 01 roadking. with the synthetic i believe you can actually use the same oil in all three componets but not positive on that note though.
