How much gear oil do we use? Fiat Punto 1.2?

We've just changed the gear box on a Fiat Punto 1.2 8v, and we're wondering how much gear oil to put into it?How much gear oil do we use? Fiat Punto 1.2?
so in the transmission im assuming thats what your talking about? fill it up till it drips out of the fill plug. or if your refering to the rearend do the same.How much gear oil do we use? Fiat Punto 1.2?
The handbook will tell you. Alternatively a friendly Fiat Dealer (Spares Dept) will tell you. In any event you fill until no more will go in, then run the car around the block, let it stand then see if any more will go in. That gets rid of any air locks. But the Dealer info is easier.
