How do you top up the gear box oil in an automatic freelander?

I have a 2001 freelander and really need to top up the oil in the gear box, i took it to the garage but they told me it can't be toped up and i will have to spend 拢2000 on a new gearbox.How do you top up the gear box oil in an automatic freelander?
The yellow cap on the top is for engine oil you top up the gear box oil through the dipstick tube, when checking the level have the engine running with the car in park. hopr this helpsHow do you top up the gear box oil in an automatic freelander?

Most automatics are filled or topped up by pouring the oil down the dipstick hole. Best use a small funnel to make it easier.
